After having some foundation work done, I asked John Hurst to put in my lawn. John roughed the yard in with a power rake, pretty standard equipment.

 

   What impressed me was when he showed up with a tractor mounted lawn seeder of his own design. The seeder was simple and straight forward. The really different part was an expanded metal roller that worked the seed bed up and did a really good job of getting the seed in the ground instead of on the ground. No straw or peat moss. Just diligent watering and the grass came in really nice. Even around all the trees. Nice piece of equipment. Simple, straight forward and well built.
